The Sugar Land Space Cowboys are the Triple A affiliate of the Houston Astros and compete in the Pacific Coast League. They began play as the Astros Triple A affiliate in 2021 and began playing under the Space Cowboys brand in 2022. The Space Cowboys play at Constellation Field, located at the corner of Hwy-6 and US-90 Alternate in Sugar Land, Texas. Constellation Field is a state-of-the-art multipurpose Triple-A ballpark. Amenities allow for high level professional baseball, but also other sports including football, soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading and band competitions, etc., as well as concerts, group outings, and scout sleepovers. Total ballpark capacity is 7,700 for baseball (expandable to 9,200) and 10,000 in concert configuration. Amenities include 21 Suites; upper level club seating; a year-round meeting / dining / entertainment space; picnic deck; extensive playground facilities and much more. Fans are able to circulate 360 degrees around the ballpark, sit in luxury armchair seats, or bring your own blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the game from the grass areas.
