Kim Bernshausen is a Member of Rosenberg Rotary Club. She was President of the Club in 2021-2022, & VP of the Club 2022-2023.
Rosenberg Rotary Club is a non-profit that has a long history in Rosenberg Texas going back to the 1950's. The chub has helped people & the community in the Rosenberg & Richmond area for years. In the past, the Club has given funds to help out Attack Poverty with a community garden, Fort Bend YMCA with funds to teach swimming lessons to economically disadvantaged youth, Texana Center with funding and volunteers to build a playground for kids, Reigning Strength with purchasing a therapy horse, the Fort Bend Black Heritage Society with the purchase of equipment to maintain Blume Road Cemetery & we have helped with disaster recovery efforts.
Additionally, annual projects to include; dictionaries for 3rd graders at LCISD, Needville ISD, Brazos ISD, & Beasley Elementary schools, Interact programs for High School students at Terry High School & Brazos High School with community service hours awarded for their volunteer hours at different fundraising events and service projects. Over the past 6 years, Rosenberg Rotary has awarded more than $25,000 to college-bound students from Terry High School alone.
Rosenberg Rotary Club meets on most Wednesdays of the month from 12-1pm at Ol' Railroad Cafe, 1901 Avenue G, Rosenberg, TX 77471. See our club Facebook page for speakers and events posted.
