General Description

The Vice President of Access, Completion, and Transfer (VPACT) provides leadership and coordination across all areas related to student access, credential obtainment, and transfer, including: recruitment, admissions, registration, testing, academic advising, financial aid. This position works closely with other members of the Executive Cabinet to develop the institutional capacity to understand and leverage data sources to improve decision making accountability and progress towards College goals and the fulfillment of performance standards outlined within House Bill 8. The VPACT is directly accountable to the President.

Requirements

This position requires a Master's Degree and ten years of full-time work experience in higher education. A minimum of five years of experience in enrollment management or student affairs is required. Strong methodological, statistical, and technological skills are required for this position. This position requires experience supervising staff in the accomplishment of multiple projects. A strong understanding of House Bill 8 and Texas community college funding models is preferred. This position requires the incumbent to be proficient with computer software applications, including all Microsoft Office products. Experience working with Ellucian ERP systems is preferred. A criminal background check is also required.
