General Description

The Dean of Students is responsible for providing leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive student affairs program. These programs and services include counseling and disability services, management of the residence halls and residential curriculum, student life (engagement activities & organizations), Title IX, tutoring, and discipline/community standards. The Dean also leads the College's new student onboarding, transition, first-year experience, and persistence initiatives. The Dean of Students is a member of the Student Services Council, and may be appointed to other College governance committees as assigned. Requirements

Master's degree from any regionally accredited institution. A minimum of five years of full-time administrative experience in a community college or university student affairs environment. Demonstrated experience in student conduct administration, crisis response, student engagement and retention initiatives, and supervision of student affairs functional areas required.
