We’re inspired by the moment a guest walks in and says, “Wow!” followed by, “Who planned this?” That’s our kind of conversation.
At Houston Event Planning, we combine fresh ideas with the experience to make them happen. Whether the goal is building brand awareness, strengthening client relationships or keeping employees engaged, we create experiences that give people something to talk about long after the last centerpiece is packed. We bring the creativity, coordinate the details and keep “surprise!” reserved for the entertainment.
What advice would you offer someone looking for the type of services your business provides?
Start with your goals, estimated guest count, budget and a list of what you’ve already booked. Then bring us your wish list and ask, “Can you make this happen?” We love a creative challenge!
The more we know, the better we can recommend ideas, coordinate vendors and anticipate details that are easy to overlook, such as guest flow, venue capacity and permits. A spectacular entrance is wonderful. Making sure 500 guests can actually get through it is where experience comes in.
With decades of experience planning events everywhere from hotel ballrooms to airport hangars, terminals and the middle of a field, we know every setting has its own challenges. Some come with chandeliers. Others require us to bring the electricity. We know how to make both extraordinary.
Describe an exciting recent highlight.
Houston Event Planning is having its busiest October yet! Our calendar includes corporate conferences, fall festivals, grand openings, family events and a massive gala. Our coffee deserves an honorary staff badge. We have executed hundreds of events in just months.
We’re proud to bring the same care, creativity and attention to every event, whether guests arrive in business suits, black tie or sneakers ready for a pumpkin patch. Different audiences, different settings, one goal: make every event extraordinary.
What’s an interesting fact about Houston Event Planning that most people don’t know?
Behind our big events is a mighty team with more than 40 years of combined experience. We’re a diverse group united by a love of creating extraordinary experiences and an impressive ability to discuss linens, loading docks and entertainment in the same sentence.
Guests see the celebration. We see the hundreds of details that make it feel effortless. That’s our favorite kind of magic.
Has Houston Event Planning won any awards or received special recognition?
Yes! Houston Event Planning received this year’s Pinnacle Award in the hospitality category at the Better Business Bureau’s Awards for Excellence. This is our third Pinnacle Award since joining the BBB in 2006.
For a team that usually works behind the scenes, stepping into the spotlight was a special moment. We’re proud to be recognized for the service, integrity and care we bring to our clients. And yes, we briefly considered adding “award-winning” to our coffee order.
