Description


During Fort Bend County Day 2025 in Austin, Texas, Fort Bend County constituents will engage in a dynamic agenda designed to address key local issues. The day will kick off with a Fort Bend County legislative panel featuring state representatives who will discuss pressing matters affecting the county. Following this, attendees will enjoy a  keynote address, highlighting the importance of collaboration between local leaders and state officials. In the afternoon, participants will embark on legislative visits to meet with lawmakers, focusing on critical topics such as Education & Workforce Development, Economic Development, Flooding & Drainage, and Infrastructure. This event aims to foster meaningful dialogue and advocacy, ensuring that Fort Bend County's priorities are effectively communicated as the 89th Texas Legislature convenes. The day will end with an Elected Officials Reception at the Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel. Transportation to and from Austin will be provided.
