The Emerging Workforce Summit connects local employers with the next generation of talent in Fort Bend County.
Building on the success of our previous Health & Wellness Day and Manufacturing & Technology Day, this expanded event brings together 11th–12th grade Career & Technical Education (CTE) students from Lamar CISD for a hands-on career exploration experience. Throughout the day, students engage in industry panels and interactive exhibitor experiences designed to showcase the wide range of career opportunities available right here in our region.
The Emerging Workforce Summit will take place on November 13, 2026. For sponsors and participating organizations, the Emerging Workforce Summit provides a valuable opportunity to engage directly with future talent, highlight career pathways within your industry, and help students understand the skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce. By connecting businesses with students early, the event helps strengthen Fort Bend County’s talent pipeline while inspiring the next generation of local professionals.
